SliQGraphics is a photography/graphic design based business that focuses a lot on urban style art, fashion, and style. We like to use different sources as inspiration and motivation for the pieces and projects that we do. GQ magazine and other similar fashion editorials are a big example of what we use for ideas. Both being very creative and having backgrounds in photography and graphic design, we bring our thoughts and ideas together and then go out and try to create those images that we propose.
Our name took a while to come up with. We wanted to choose something that was modern and cool. We brainstormed, thinking of different words that we used to describe our art and the type of style that we have. “Slick” is what we settled on because we didn’t feel as if the things that we do are too flashy, but very catchy and attractive.
